Saint Paul and Ang Manluluwas Lutheran Church is a united Lutheran congregation formed through the merging of Saint Paul Lutheran Church and Ang Manluluwas Lutheran Church. We worship and serve together as one family in Christ.
Where is the church located?
Our congregation is based in Landing, Catarman, Cebu. Although we currently do not have a permanent church building, we continue to gather for worship, fellowship, and other church activities.
Does the church currently have its own building?
Not yet. However, the absence of a permanent church building does not stop us from worshiping God and serving together. We believe the Church is not simply a building—it is the community of believers gathered together in Christ.
When was Ang Manluluwas Lutheran Church founded?
Ang Manluluwas Lutheran Church was founded in 1962. In August 2026, the congregation celebrated 64 years of God’s faithfulness and entered its 65th year.
What does “Rooted in God’s Word” mean?
It means that we desire to build our lives, families, ministry, and church upon the teachings of God found in the Bible. Just as strong roots help a tree stand firm, God’s Word strengthens us to remain faithful in every season

Yes! Everyone is welcome. Whether you are a longtime Christian, new to the faith, returning to church, or simply interested in learning more about God, we would be happy to welcome you.
What is the mission of the church?
Our mission is to worship God, proclaim Jesus Christ, remain rooted in His Word, strengthen believers in faith, serve one another in love, and share the Gospel with our community and future generations.
What makes your church strong even without a permanent building?
Our strength comes from God and our faith in Jesus Christ. Buildings may change, but our commitment to worship, fellowship, prayer, service, and God’s Word remains.
